changing the dead soldier or hanged skins in editor , possible ?

Is it possible to change skins of the dead soldiers and hanged characters in the editor >?
I have a idea map edit Id like to do this with if its possible , any one ever tried ? and the results if have done so.
And if yes .. link or some info on how.
