I wonder if we can just change the burybody script to include the skin. Obvisouly if it can't be packaged then it isn't included in the box. It would be the easiest way to remove all of the recoverskin/take clothes iseus.

The clothes script from zupa has a take clothes option that works, gives you the base skin to which skin your taking. (used it previously before i started using the repack) (i don't know if sheep is using that part of his script)

Could be the different way the previous take clothes script handles the take clothes and isn't liking the new additions?

Generally it was kicking players when they applied a skin. I am using my old one at the moment. not too much of an issue there is the odd one that kicks the players to debug and they lose their BP.

I kept it so you can just un-comment between cherno and napf. They are mainly down south so you can get some action down there. Its a bit quiet.

I have to redo the bank its all messed up. Do you have the 3d files for the editor so I can move it?

i dont have the files for the bank got it from the epoch forums, you can just make anew one and place a laptop in it somewhere

Now I have no gambling at all at casino .., and got reports tonight of halo spawn breaking legs .. some said has been happening .. I've halo spawned and never had don't know ..but person that told me .. reliable source he is ex admin on another serve. is this just a a2 bug ?

hmm pretty sure if you come down to fast parachuting you break legs :) ill test,
i will also check gambling to see why its busted :(

I did that, just copied the PBO to replace the original one. The 2nd and third lines are so confusing I ignored them as there are no PBO files in my server MPMISSION folder. And I have a MISSIONS folder, but not a MISSION folder.

It then says.....

1. Replace you current BE filters with the ones included.


There's no clue for the n00b as to where to find these BE filters, so I just guessed and created a folder called BATTLEYE in the server's root folder, becasue that's what they it was called in the Sheep archive, and copied the .TXT files over.


So I booted the server up and went to play. I spawn, without even getting asked to choose the location, in the middle of the ocean, no debug, nothing to indicate that the repack has loaded. The Infistar menu won't even come up.

So there MUST be more to the installation than merely copying a single PBO file as instructed by the README, and creating a Battleye folder and copying stuff across ?

And was Infistar's Admin Menu not working because there's something else I need to do ?

Just looked at the 0.14 archive compared to the 0.15 one. The 0.14 has a PBO in the MPMISSIONS folder, whereas 0.15 does not. Is this the cause of my problems - the PBO missing from the 0.15 archive (downloaded from Github) ?

Lots of things. First off, he should definitely include better instructions :)
Replace your server PBO (@dayz_epoch_server/addons/dayz_server.pbo in my case) with the included dayz_server.pbo file
Replace your Mission File (mpmissions/dayz_1_chernarus.pbo or sommat in my case) with the included one. If it is just the folder, no PBO, get a PBO tool and compress the folder into a .pbo file
Depending on what server host you use, your Battleye folder is most often inside the instance folder (instance.1.chernarus or sommat in my case), where your basic.cfg and hive.cfg files are located...
Infistar will not work unless you have purchased and manually installed Infistar antihack. It is a paid product, and not included in this repack. Are you referring to Pheonix's admin tools that are included in this repack? Those will function, as long as you make sure to follow the install directions, and add your UID (not GUID) inside the adminlist.sqf file.

I know that's a lot to understand, but hopefully after some messing about it will click :) DayZ servers are not easy to run, if you need help I know there are many people in this amazing community that would be willing to do so! Some even for free :)
 
Thanks Rocky. I will give it a try when I get home. I am using Napf rather than Chernarus, hopefully the folder name will be just as obvious.

I am using GTX Servers, so it comes with a free full version of Infistar. So do you know how to make it work with Sheeps' ?

I can't really make modifications to the SQF files without uploading EVERYTHING to my server and then reconstructing the PBO, can I ?
 
How can you control your speed?
I am sure that if you landed on something that was at an angle to the ground like a rock or bush it would cause issues. Is the broken legs repeatable?
pressing foward speeds you up a little pressing back slows you down, i think your right as well that angle plays some part as well

the read me is not finished yet i will try to get better instructions but there is a lot of hosts and each one is diffrent,

if people could send me the PBO locations (server and MPMission) for there provider and also mention if the have to use a MPMission.pbo or if they can use a folder, and there BE filter locations, i could write up some better instructions :)

I finally found a patch of hemp , tried to harvest with knife kept telling me need to be closer.. went around those plants 10 mins lol .. never could harvest any ... so just went to the casino and bought some lol...

sounds like you had already harvested and smoked too much hemp ....
