I used the command exactly as issued by Sahrani admin - Seven. :) See http://opendayz.net/threads/sahrani-server-setup.10684/ --execute="call pMain()" as there is no example launch file provided for the 0.78 mod. I'll give your idea a go of course.

Ok figured this out. The so-called 0.78 server release isn't the full version. Merely an update to 0.21. Be nice if the poster could have mentioned the release is a full or upgrade for us newcomers to Sahrani? :)

You do realise that this 0.78 Server release is missing quite a few of the Sahrani server files? Took me a few hours to work that out. It seems we need to download the full 0.21 server version as well and use this 0.78 to update it. Maybe mention that? :)

Thanks. :) There is no files provided in the Sahrani server 0.78 zip that includes "dayz_1.sara", "basic.cfg", "hive.ini", "config_"etc. Can you provide these files or point to a copy of them please?

Here is a basic MYSQL setup for Windows 7/8 32bit or 64bit for newbies. Go to mysql web site and download the community Server version - mysql 5.5 ZIP archive (yes there is a 5.6 But this tutorial was done with 5.5) Choose the 64bit version if your Windows is 64bit...
