I have been looking for someone who could show everyone how you could spawn AI at the random heli crashsites. I already have the Sarge AI installed, so I imagine there's a relatively simple way to add this function?
Even without the mission system. We can already do this with players HALO spawning. Seems like it wouldn't be that much of a stretch to get AI to HALO spawn too.
Would be kind of terrifying to be looting around Stary, then seeing parachutes coming down near you!
Would be kind of neat to see AI parachuting in. Maybe not all the time. Perhaps a percent chance of a dynamic spawn to HALO jump in?

Well, it's buggy. Sometimes they patrol, sometimes they don't.
I setup a few patrols in a wooded area. Sometimes when I log on they just stand in the same spot the entire time I'm online. Other times, one will patrol, but the other won't. They're generally not being attacked, but I expect they...
Actually wouldn't mind making a night server and just giving everyone NVGs. Even the AI.
Would make dealing with the zeds easier, but also a more surreal experience as well.
I know it's a tedious process, but "Wait For Host" usually means you are missing a semi-colon or comma somewhere. Sometimes you can even have one where it isn't supposed to be!

Hey, you're right, HFB server is annoying. Finally figured it out. Haven't had to deal with battleye stuff before, so I had to get up to speed on figuring that stuff out.
The !"R3F_" thing did the trick for me. Thanks for the tip!
*** SOLVED ***
Ok, think I got it figured out. Wasn't a problem with my static spawns not patrolling afterall. Had to add the code to make "Resistance" hostile toward "Civilians". That ended up causing the "invisible AI" bug. Got that handled with the fix. Now my soldiers will fire on Zeds! :)
So, I set up a battle scene between soldiers and bandits using the static spawn. That seems to be working. Is it that AI doesn't shoot at zombies anymore?
Didn't want to start a new thread since I am having a similar problem on a new install of 1.5.2.
Running 1.8.0.3 Chenarus.
Static spawns of soldiers are just standing there with zombies roaming around them. The dynamic spawns are working fine. I am using "patrol" not "Patrol".
