A.I kills counted on debug?

    For some reason I can't get the kills to be counted as murders/bandit kills..ect I had it working perfect with a simpler npc mod but no that I'm using sarge's it doesnt count them.

    Code:

    SAR_log_AI_kills = false;
    I've tried it with this enabled and disabled but to no avail.

    I'm using this debug http://dayz.st/w/Debug_Monitor

    I'm using the latest framework 1.5.

    Can anyone help me please?

    Also side-chat kill info doesn't seem to be working.

    I'm having the same problem. AI Bandit, Survivor, or Soldier kills do not get recorded in the DB.

    Hello,

    First of all, you should know that this line of code :

    Code:
    // Log AI kills
    SAR_log_AI_kills = false;
    
    Is only used to show kill messages in the log files, it has nothing to do with the ingame debug monitor :)

    Now to your problem, the first thing that would come to my mind is the question of lag, the kills are maybe not being updated on your debug monitor due to some lag you are having ?

    Second option, try a different Debug Monitor and see if it changes ?

    SparxOne,

    The system was working fine in version 1.1 of SargeAI. Updated to version 1.5 and suddenly no AI kills register. Also the message that people are supposed to see when someone kills an AI, not everyone see's it. I don't, and a few others I play with regularly don't, but other that we play with do.

    Thinking of trying a fresh install of the game and SargeAI 1.5 only to see if it makes any difference.

    Unfortunately i still havn't moved to 1.5 so i do not know exactly what's happening and havn't had the chance to experience these sort of bugs :S

    I guess we'll have to wait for Sarge to have a look at all these bugs people are having and wait for fixes :)

    check with the people that see the kill message if they have a radio on them. Seems one is needed.

    I'll recheck the kill counter for the debug monitors.

    It's not a question of lag, I've determined that.. Lots of players have spent hours killing npc's and not a single one has ever been added to their debug and I'm pretty sure they aren't getting counted in the database since we have live stats on our site with top 10 bandit killers..ect and none of these stats have changed since installing 1.5.

    I'm in the same position. Since installing 1.5 my live stats page which I wrote for our site myself hasn't updated a single kill. I downgraded to version 1.1 because of other issues and kills are registering again. It's definitely a problem with 1.5 not saving kills to the DB for some reason.

    you dont have to send the full rpt. just check for unusual errors and report these here.

    well tested it after u uploaded the fix but somehow for me it still doesnt count Murders or bandit kills

    Hey Sarge. I just re-installed the 1.5 files freshly downloaded from your GitHub. Killing AI does not get reflected in the DB still. And to see when players kill AI you still need a radio. Don't know if that's intended though.

    if its not inteded let it be like it is so the radio makes some sence untill further modifications =)

    This prevents your player from being synced with the DB, that's one issue.

    I'll recheck the functionality of storing bandit and survivor kills on the player object in my environment.
