Arma beta patch abuse.

Hello!
I don't know (hopefully I am) where to post abouot this but for me this problem is critical.
One of my players told me that you can install latest beta patch over 1.60 arma2 version and then have all the fancy not patched thingies like higher dmg in weapons.
DayZ Commander shows that actual version is 1.62.xxxxxx but it's not and ppl can connect with 1.60.xxxxxx.
My question is can it be stopped? Or blocked?
I'm worried and confused :/

Check your config.cfg file. You can set the minimum beta patch required to join the server.

Thanks for the answer but it is set requiredBuild=103419;
I'm talking about lower value of the versioning which is x.62.xxxxxx.
People can install beta patch over x.60.xxxxxx not x.62.xxxxxx - that's the case.
