You can post your BE logs/txts here!
You are allowed to ask questions about these logs/filter scripts
    Only for Battleeye Filter Scripts/Logs!!

Let us make the scripters impossible to use their scripts on our servers and ruin the game.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
@ebay wrote a guide to battleye that is very useful http://opendayz.net/threads/a-guide-to-battleye-filters.21066/
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It all depends on what scripts you are running and how you have your BE filters configured

I believe that the call medic heli (which was created by Norrn) is included in Sheeps Epoch repack.
To answer your question. No those reports in your logs are not hackers (usually). It logs all the stuff that occurs on your server. Will hackers show up in those logs (and its the Battleye logs, not the RPT log), sure they will.
If they create something that is not allowed on the server it will be logged. The challenge is to create scripts that don't log all the stuff that is supposed to be happening so when you see something in the log, you know its a probably a hacker. .

The first example about BIS_MPF_logic ... That has something to do with AI I think. But when I googled it here is an intersting post.
    http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.ph...ble-restriction-0-bis-mpf-logic-what-is-this/
What is funny is someone asks about it, and is told point blank "its a hack, ban him". and then someone revives the posts 5 months later and the same guy says "its not a hack, restart the server".
Are you willing to accidentally ban 20 players so you can ban the 1 actual hacker?

I have a theory about the value of your time with these things. If the amount of time you spend looking at the BE logs and editing the script restrictions does not yield a significant result, its not worth having. Enjoy playing the game! Is it really worth all the trouble to ban some guy who spawns in a DMR and ammo or a UH1H that he could find within 30 minutes on most servers? Sure he is a hacker and if I catch him he will be banned, but I am not going to spend all my time worrying about him. IMHO the only hacks to be 100% vigilant of are the ones where the hackers destroy the server; they teleport the players out to sea, they nuke the towns, they kill players from 8000 meters with a double barrel shotgun. Dont sweat the small stuff.

well thats the truth right there that I posted. Battleye filters are next to worthless and to make them useful it will take so much time that you will not get to actually enjoy owning a server and playing the game.
As for hackers trashing your server, thats what I am saying, worry about the guy who nukes the entire map or teleports all the players into the ocean. The guy who spawns in a Uh1H or a DMR isn't doing any real harm. If you catch him, good, if you don't its not a big deal (especially on all these new fad servers with all the weapons available).
And the bottom line is if a hacker comes in and 'trashes your server', all it takes is a restart and its back to brand new. So do what you can to prevent the catastrophe's and limit your time worrying about the harmless hackers.
It is my opinion that ANY server that uses Infistar or other admin tools are allowing the admins to hack. But thats okay because its 'just a heli' or 'i needed a backpack or bloodbag'. If its harmless for the admins then its harmless when the players do it. And don't get me started on 'donator' privileges! Same thing, guy wants to spawn in with a vehicle and rifle every time so he donates, same as the common hacker.

I did not mean to suggest that you need to make your BE filters from scratch or customize every single file. That would take way too long. Realistically, all you need to do is use the default filters provided by the developers of your mod or with your antihack (in case of infistar). The developers have already done all the hard work of creating and testing them. I added a note in my guide to hopefully clear that up.

The idea behind strict filters that kick for small things (like weapons that are unobtainable on your server) is that they catch scripters before they do any serious harm. If someone is scripting it is better they are caught early and auto banned for something small, rather than later for killing everyone. Of course, all servers should have auto database backups and active admins, so if that does happen the damage can quickly be reverted. Backups are no substitute for security though. The disruption of rollbacks ruins the experience, especially if they are determined and keep rejoining.

The default BE filters provided with your mod or infistar are quite useful and do provide an extra level of protection. Since Arma is such an open engine it needs every bit of protection it can get. It takes a little work to add exceptions for custom scripts, but other than that they require minimal configuration to use. I would never advise using no filters or even worse disabling BE . At a bare minimum there is no reason not to have mpeventhandler, remotecontrol, remoteexec, teamswitch, waypointcondition and statement .txt files configured to prevent blatant remote execution. Also at a bare minimum these security settings:

I just got hit by team of 2 hackers .. toasted the database, and all kinds of fun .. finally caught them one by one .. in the act ... add these two to your bans
