Cannot Connect to Server

I've just setup http://opendayz.net/threads/stapos-2017-server-lite-release.7158/ and everything seems fine until I try to join the game. When I try to join, it gets stuck on "wait for host", and the console starts spamming "Mission DayZ read from directory".

As far as I can tell, I have followed the installation instructions exactly. The only issue I have is that I am unable to install the latest beta patch, as I receive "wrong CD key" although im confident I already have it. (yes I have purchased combined operations on steam).

If anyone could give me some ideas as to what could be wrong I would really appreciate it.

Stapo's release is not compatible with 2017 v2.0.1. You can only use the Reality release at the moment.

Thanks for your reply; yeah found that. Um, do you know of any tutorials for setting up the reality server? About an hour after posting I started trying to set up the reality server, even reinstalled arma after several failed attempts and im still having issues. Is their a suggested method of installation?

Generally any installation help would be great, finding the installation instructions on the guthub hard to follow.


EDIT: Ahha, ok. Was having issues with the database, just found out how to resolve error:0 unable to start mysql service.

Have you checked the Wiki?

I did, but to me it seems all over the place, had to mix the installation types to get where I am now.
