DayZ Epoch. How do I reduce item/weapon numbers?

Hi. Just started a DayZ Epoch server and loving it so far but I think there's too much gear around. I've found out how to reduce the number of vehicles, but I can't find a way to reduce the number of items, mainly weapons. I was finding a new weapon in almost every building, which made the game a tad too easy (although the ammo was a bit on the shy side, but still ...).

Can anyone point me in the right direction for reducing the number of items/weapons spawned.
