I have been running a server for a while now, basically just for a few friends but its main role is for me installing, testing and creating scripts, Just fucking about to be honest. I was looking at moving from hosted to a dedicated server.
I was just trying to figure out how do server hosting company's allocate resources on these servers, Do I get so much CPU, RAM, HDD like a VPS or is it just a big "free for all" where every server takes what they can?
