    Hello OpenDayZ Community!

    Im trying to get a vanilla Namalsk Server working.
    Ive installed a Chernarus 1.8.8. Server and edited it so Namalsk should run.

    Problem now is that im stuck on waiting for authentication.
    Any help?

    edited it how? Did you get the namalsk map + pure vanilla mission (w/fixed mission.sqm). I ask since you have entries in that RPT that represent the special namalsk loops, etc. Or, you could easily test it as a chernarus server first too.

    this looks strange for instance:

    I assume you've read through my tutorial for getting a chernarus server running, especially the thing like the vc++ requirements, etc.

    The Server runs via Nitrado.
    I am able to log in now and play. Bloodsuckers spawn. Blowout works. Warmclothing works. Loottable doesnt work yet.

    If you wanna check it out type: pendulum in the dayzlauncher.

    Im not so happy with it yet but we will see if it works out in the long run.

    For example the old namalsk script spawning mi8 and c130 static heli crashes with loot isnt working there.

    And the namalsk spawn location dont work for me for some reason e.g. object a2 and the white barracks

    Good to hear. not sure what Nitrado is.
    namalsk contains an older copy of dayz_code, so I believe the effects should work. Loot should work, but you will probably run into BattleEye issues since those old table have old class names.

    The spawns are in the mission.sqm file - and if you are running dayzmod 188 core, there were some elements added to it, so diff it against whatever you are using. for example the a and b elements were added recently.

    Namalsk buildings won't spawn loot with the 1.8.8 code no matter what you do.

    @clifdayz what doe the a= & b= do, are they the region where they can spawn? I:e: from 4880 up to 7000 or something?

    @clifdayz i know how to fix battleeye issues. this wouldnt be that big of a deal ^^

    Well ive tried to learn something from the dayz epoch 1.0.6 dayz_code because they changed it already to missionconfigfile. And ive tried to add the spawnpositions from the dayz_namalsk ns_dayz ->config.bin which i converted to config.cpp with unrap.

    So far no luck spawning loot in a2 or white barracks etc.

    So that's what I did so far for customizing the loottable:

    1. Unpacked and openend the mpmission.

    2. Went to arma2oa folder / dayz 1.8.8 folder / addons / dayz_code.
    -> Opened dayz_code.pbo
    I took out the following files:
    -/Configs/CfgLoot (whole folder)
    -/compile/building_spawnLoot.sqf
    -/loot (whole folder)

    3. I placed the building_spawnLoot.sqf into a Folder in my mpmission called compile and adjusted the compile in my custom compile.sqf:

    Ive opened up the building_spawnLoot.sqf with Notepad++ and changed the _config line with the following:

    4. I opened up the description.ext and added the following line at the bottom:

    My mp mission structure looks like sth like this:
    compile(folder)
    Configs(folder)
    init(folder)
    loot(folder)
    description.ext(file)
    init.sqf(file)
    mission.sqm(file)

    5. Ive opened up my custom compile.sqf in the init folder and changed the following:

    6. Ive opened up the compiles.sqf in the loot folder and changed the #define PATH(sub_path) line into the following:

    7.Then ive opened up the init.sqf in the loot folder and changed the _cfgGroups line:

    7. Ive opened the other files in the loot folder to compare to the epoch once and the thing I also changed were lines like this:

    When I tried to post it it said I had too much characters.

    Anyway, this still won't spawn loot in the namalsk buildings right?

    7. Ive opened the Loot.hpp in the loot folder and tried to change this line:

    And at the same time I also changed this line

    8. After packing my mpmission into pbo and restarting the server i tried to join and see what happens.

    9. Following happened at first:

    arma2oa error: mpmissions\_CUR_MP.namalsk\loot\Configs\CfgLoot\LootDefines.hpp not found. 
    10. I changed the loot.hpp line back to the default and restarted the server again and got another error when joining:

    arma2oa error: mpmissions\_CUR_MP.namalsk\compile\loot\Loot.hpp not found.
    So i also changed the line in the building_spawnLoot.sqf back to default.

    11. Ive opened up the Military.hpp located in mpmissions/Configs/CfgLoot/Buildings
    and ive added the following positions at the bottom:

    12. Ive packed the pbo and restarted the server. Ive joined and there was still no loot in those buildings.

    Also, place building_spawnloot in the root of the pbo

    Why? I think if i edit the path of the compiles.sqf it should work or am i mistaken?
