[Mission] GoT_Wasteland v1.08 (Fully Functional)

    So.. I decided to spend a day of tinkering with the 404Games v1.06 Arma3 Wasteland mission.

    I had Allready had made a stripped version of it before (with all non functional parts removed reducing the missionsize to 980Kb).
    But the real challenge was offcourse to get wasteland to its full functionality again.

    I've had to improvise alot due to the lack of items/objects in the current alpha version. But after some browsing through the cfgvehicles and testing i think i got a nice working concept together :)

    The original creators of the mission are de devteam of 404games.co.uk (all credits go to them offcourse)

    The v1.08(d) Complete edition has been released on github, stripped edition will be updated later.

    Since i had to improvise with some of the items due to them not being available in the alpha, I've made a short video showing the functionality ingame:

    (Rev: C was skipped so both stripped and complete editions are on the same version)
    The only think i cant get to work is the radar/uav, (enemy/friendly player notifications) it seems to be removed/disabled in the arma3 alpha. i will look into this as i find out more on this topic.

    Dont forget to add your own admin ID's to /server/admins.sqf :)

    quick question Jo, is it possible to add backpacks to the clean up script? They are EVERYWHERE lol and just add stress to the server.

    that one looks a little tricky, i'll look into it but the cleanup fsm is still quite abacadabra to me (seems to be a different language)
    i am working on some other improvements for v1.08d though

    Work on v1.08d is going well, hope to get it done in a day or 2 :)

    [Added] New objects to the list of basebuilding parts
    [Added] Sanjo's mission selection system to prevent recurring missions (Thanks Sanjo!)
    [Added] Mission information and author info to the splash screen
    [Added] Gunstore radars on map are back!
    [Changed] Weapon and item prizes in the gunstore to be more realistic
    [Changed] Some of the baseparts that kept falling over
    [Changed] Logisitic checks on client and server init (caused long waiting times)
    [Fixed] Flare rounds in gunstore not possible to buy
    [Fixed] AI and Vehicles from convoy missions not despawning
    [Fixed] Slow respawn dialog on first spawn
    [Removed] Some more GoT2DayZ.nl references where removed
    
    Testbuild is up on my server (DEV-Branch) please dont use it yourself yet. still has some debug logging in it

    Just a hint:
    If you want to make your mission bullet proof, against the latest "BIS_fnc_MP - hack":

    Insert this line

    "BIS_fnc_MP_packet" addPublicVariableEventHandler {};

    in the init.sqf at first line.

    I tested it with your mission and it works great.

    1.08(F) now in testing on my server, if found stable will be released tonight:

    [Added] More spawns for objects and vehicles
    [Added] Random loot inside buildings all over the map
    [Added] Backpacks to gunstore
    [Changed] Starting backpack
    [Changed] Armed/Civil Heli missions no longer spawn broken
    [Fixed] Vehicles not respawning
    [Fixed] Not being able to buy 7.62mm ammo
    [Fixed] Gunstore now properly checks your inventory space
    [Fixed] Various broken admin-features
    [Fixed] AI with MXM had the wrong AMMO
    [Fixed] Typo in lootspawner

    I've created an updated page on our website about the new upcomming version! (GoT Wasteland v2)

    ATM just needs some stress-testing to see if it wont crash or something :)
