Ever since I installed DZAI I get this error message. I just click ok and everything works as normal. I did install a custom loot table using this guide so I'm wondering if it has anything to do with that. Because of the custom loot table I set DZAI_dynamicWeaponList to false.
 
have seen this too, but did not look into it yet!

as far as i remember, the weapon mentioned in the popup is an ak74.../burst. have to look for the correct name when it pops up next time.

using custom loot tables too, but i doubt its related to them as i left weapon configs untouched. but as said before, have not yet looked into it in detail...
 
It happens when there is a weapon not in the DZ or DZE weapon list. Nothing to worry about but happens on most servers. If you have the Mission System running is could also be from some of the loot in the mission system.

Yes it seems harmless, I'm just OCD when it comes to errors and that kind of stuff. About the mission system, I didn't install one yet, it was going to be my next step. Is there one that comes with DZAI?
 
I'm very sure this error message is not DZAI related. In Overwatch the PKT is in the loot tables but not defined in CfgWeapons, so the error pops up when someone either access the loot pile or logs in. I've seen the AK/Burst error on maps such as Namalsk and Sahrani but never on common maps like Chernarus.
 
I'm running Epoch, but it definitely happened after DZAI, it's the last script I installed and the pop ups showed up right away after the install. Most likely something to do with my custom loot tables I assume. No biggie tho I still love your AI and if I have to put up with clicking ok on a popup in order to use it I will do it gladly. Thanks for making such a great script available to us.
 
I guess I had added some banned weapons to the AI and helicopters. I removed the advanced weapons and the problem seems to have gone away.

few words to note:

spawning in 2 heli patrols 2 land patrols and a crashsite heli, thus the 5 groups.

i'm using DZAI for my crashsites, where i spawn a heli about every 10 minutes to fly to a random location on the map and crash. before crash the crew exits and patrols the crash site. removed the zeds around the crashsite as i prefer ai to patrol the site instead. of course the heli can be taken down anywhere on its way and will crash at this place as intended with its crew ejected and patrolling the site.

suppose the ak74 gets added to the loadout of the heli or vehicle crew and needs to be added somewhere in dayz or probably removed from dzai as usable weapon for ai?

writing this just as some additional info for buttface as he might want to look into it. but anyway, as web11 already said, i'm happy with dzai as it is and as it works without any problems and will live with clicking this single popup away...

I have a DayZ server running DZAI and encounter this every time I shoot a chopper down. I've done a find on every file in both mission and server pbo's and removed the Kobra reference but it's still present, so I don't think it has anything to do with the DZAI, it's just touched by some function DZAI uses.

Anyone have an idea on how this can be prevented?

Now that soldier scout vehicle is not a part of the DZAI as it's set to only spawn bandits (Bandit1_DZ), and I've even gone as far as changing my server_monitor.sqf with this snippet (which works in the function related to changing Bolts to Arrows and SVD to SVD_DZ):

So it seems the chopper is trying to spawn a soldier that can't exist once the chopper gets damaged enough that they bail. I decided to do a find in my code (for GUE_Soldier_Scout) and the only that that pops up is the default_classnames for Epoch in the DZAI directory. The server is normal DayZ on Chernarus, and references default.sqf. So it's not in my code.. right? Or is this somehow pulling Epoch information down?
 
Actually I take that back, GUE_Soldier_Scout exists no where in my code at all.. That was just a GUE reference to GUE_Soldier_Sniper on Epoch.
 
And after chasing the functions back for when the Heli spawns gear from being taken down it references the DZAI loot table. So something else is causing GUE_Soldier_Scout to trigger when a Heli explodes..
 
I've purged the entirety of kobra's from my server and references in the database with any reference in code and after shooting a chopper down I get the same error in RPT.
