Does anyone have a specific filter setup for this to work with pyBEScanner? Would be great if this code could flag a player in a way that a specific filter could detect.

Shin - From what I understand of the readme you can overload the filters. Look at the example given for Delete it explains that you can declare the filter later as a Delete and it overwrites.

Thanks for the reply in my .cfg I have logFile = "Arma2oaserver.rpt"; is that wrong? Am I putting all the stuff into a single file and could just point pyBEScanner at the same file for both?

Sorry if I'm being dense here. Why do we need to set a server_console.log and give the location to the rpt file? Aren't those the same thing just with two different names? Please advise where/how to set up a server_console.log if it is indeed different from the .rpt files.

Just want to argue something here (as I was one of the servers that approved you quickly) - Our process is *not* automated. Our staff are really just good at processing requests while they're online. The reason we do that is we're actually running background checks on all the people that apply...

I assume the recommended version is Stapo's one? Previously I've tended to use Bliss across all my platforms but our 2017 server has been low pop for awhile so I'm happy to reboot it to help support the mod better. Also I know this is a 2017 topic but if any of the mod creators out there want...

The only issue with a community wide whitelist (while a great idea) is that it's too centralized NOT to make it a target for hackers. Then you have a central authority having to work with all the server admins to determine why someone should be removed from the list.

I need to update it to the latest build but we have a very robust whitelisting system. I'm happy to support a whitelisted 2017 server as long as we get the players to play on it :) I can have it updated and the whitelist online by the weekend.

Well I think first off you'd need to customize the Chernarus version of the mod to include the models (well there are ways to package mods as part of a mission file but its not recommended) so that will create a barrier that players have to download YOUR mod before they could play.

I've had one case yesterday evening. I'm not sure you would call my experience quantitative in this situation but yeah have them at least try to log in.

We had a regular player also get banned for game hack #3. Then 5 minutes later he logged back in and said he wasn't aware of any ban at all (He had just disconnected). We know it wasn't a CDKey change as it was a whitelisted server based on GUID.

You have to concede that linking to the location of the tool would be considered 'fair' within the terms of discussion?
