They're any where you want to put them on your server... assuming you have one.
I go into DayZ to the lobby and then disconnect, but don't exit and hit Ctrl+e to enter edit mode. (check out a few youtube videos on how to add a building). Add something like a hedgehog or any item that is small...
Does this code look right? I was playing around and just wanted to make sure and an example of weapons, ammo, cloths and extras.
[[[],[]], [["M4A3_CCO_EP1","M4A1_AIM_SD_camo","DMR"],[5,5,5]], [["30Rnd_556x45_Stanag","30Rnd_556x45_StanagSD","20Rnd_762x51_DMR"], [100,100,100]]...
hmmm... if I'm reading this right:
Bandits AI = EAST
Players (real person) = WEST
Survivor/Soldier AI = RESISTANCE
Assuming I am right... Bummer! :(
But I'm not giving up yet... just need to think of a different work around. LOL
Thanks again for being patient with me.
Almost gave up… but now you tweaked my interest once more.
Before I continue, I have to say, I really appreciate you taking the time to reply.
You mentioned earlier factions and being tagged as an enemy, if we ignore the fact about being “tagged†and we focus on the factions for a...
One more question, (because I'm all about the work around) is it possible to run a second AI folder?
In other words, currently there is the "addons" directory where I could leave the bandit and soldiers with hostile humanity 15,000. Deploy no survivors.
Create a second folder "addons_2"...
I know the SAR_config.sqf has the SAR_HUMANITY_HOSTILE_LIMIT default set to -1500.
The question is... can anyone help me set humanity limits for each type of ai?
Example:
Bandit's kill everyone... no matter what their humanity. (Believe this is true today, so no change here.)
Survivor's...
Editing the mission.sqm worked great.
The db option didn't work for some reason. Not sure if its the new 1771 or something I missed. Seems pretty straight forward, but isn't working for me.
Wondering if you could help me add "items" to the cargo besides weapons and ammo?
I'd like to add...
I found the line I believe needs to be change. The instructions do not say this line or the other line... its implied.
Regardless, there are no more AI heli crashes at server reboot. However, I have not seen one yet either. This is promising tho and will keep you posted.
Well, there are no more crashes. I have not seen an AI heli patrol yet.
So basically at this point what we're saying is in the "server.pbo" once downloaded and extracted, in the SYSTEMS folder you will find the "server_cleanup.fsm".
Locate one of the lines indicated above and change it to...
I got the server_cleanup.fsm from the server.pbo... thank you for that.
In the class general_cleanup I do not see the exact line indicated in the SARGE instructions. In fact, the closest line to what is displayed is commented out. Makes it kinda easy, cuz I'll just add the line that is...
When I extract my pbo...
OH! *smacks head*
The server_cleanup.fsm is in the server.pbo not the mission.pbo!
Or at least I assume that's what you are referring to. I have to go check now.
Different thread pointed me to the FAQ's... different install instructions, but basically the same.
The ONLY thing I see regarding this issue is with the "server_cleanup.fsm", which I don't see in my extracted pbo or when i ftp to my server and I don't see any instructions for...
The ONLY thing I see regarding this issue is with the "server_cleanup.fsm", which I don't see in my extracted pbo or when i ftp to my server and I don't see any instructions for installing/creating it.
I must be missing something?
Ah ha!
Someone is having the same problem I'm having... and where is the FAQ's located?
Twice told to go there, but no link and can't seem to find it when google'd. :(
Zero, I'm on the hunt for an answer. If I find one I'll let you know.
