Hey Grafzahl... When you said this: "Thats why i earased lot of unimportant log-rules in my battleye-scripts and also deleted some unimportant diag_log commands in my server.pbo"
Did you just comment out diag_... lines in some of the server PBO files?
Also, what I am really interested in, is...
Wasn't that quite long ago though? I assumed there had been a few more fixes since then, and wondered if this would cause delays. Or were they just waiting Rocket to get down from the mountain? :D - :)
Hey Heisenberg,
Cool! So, is there any news on when Reality will release their new build? I notice the post in the announcements thread that it's at the 'end of development' cycle, and is only maintained from now on - Will this mean a delay in 1.7.7 code friendly Reality being ready?
Cheers...
As per above - will this just be a case of updating DayZ on the server itself? Will we need a specific reality build, or can we take it from dayzmod.com once it's live?
FIXED !!!
What I did, in case it helps anyone else...
When I first updated, I just backed-up the addons folder, then pasted the new addons folder, selecting to over-write any duplicates. (obviously tweaking my config & map config files afterwards for my preferred settings)
What seemed to fix...
Okay, I checked my config files - can't find anything wrong :(
I have carefully added the ! exceptions as described on the read-me on github.
I've check & double-checked my sarge config and map config files, and can't find anything wrong :(
I've added the files to pastebin in case anyone...
Hey Sarge :)
When you say 'that one fails earlier', I'm not 100% what you mean - Do you mean that the error I quoted in my post is really caused by another error, earlier on in the RPT log?
I searched the rpt for 'addons' and the earliest entry is:
19:30:40 Server: Object 2:1 not found...
Here is the rpt log where I think it's related:
18:12:19 Server: Object 2:1 not found (message 203)
18:12:24 Error in expression <=0 && {_i != _grpid} && {format ["%1", _x] != "[0,0]"}) then {
_dist1 = [_x,_fl>
18:12:24 Error position: <_x] != "[0,0]"}) then {
_dist1 = [_x,_fl>
18:12:24...
Okay, I get a similar issue.
I do know how to edit scripts.txt (5 vs 1 etc). However for me I get kicks with a #123 - Now, like #123 is set to a 1...
line #124
1 limitSpeed !"\"limitSpeed\","
line #125
1 setOwner !"\"setOwner\",
After that:
1 "rspawn" !"rspawn = 'spawn'" !"rspawncode =...
Hey Sarge,
Cool - The vehicles I was in were added via the database, and one of the classnames is 'BRDM2_INS' if that helps (INS - I think is WEST by default? not sure tho!) - These weren't added via the editor or anything, so I couldn't set a side when added them.
For a split test, I pulled...
Yup, same - I recently disabled my static (used to have them, but disabled for a bit whilst I figure out why the bandits won't shoot me if I am in my vehcile) :)
I think Sarge's AI are AWESOME! Just want to figure out these two little things :) Other than that though, lovin' it!
Thanks Coty - good to know it's not just me :D
To be honest, I'd not have noticed if it weren't for checking the AI with gcam just being nosy :D
I guess this would cause more lag than normal too?
Okay, so I have set some of the AI to be like, 95% chance to spawn, BUT I thought that was only if a player was in their grid?
However when joining the server on my own, and then switching to gcam, I can scroll through all AI etc, and see like, AI at NWAF (when I am miles away)...
Anyone...
Sarge - I think this is a great idea, however I wouldn't be able to afford it :(
Would it be an OPTION, or the ONLY way to run Sarge's AI?
Also, would it be possible to run it on a Linux box, or would it be Windows only> :P
Hey Sarge - I understand this description, only problem I am having, is that the static bandit AI are not attacking players in vehicles :(
I did find that if I got OUT of one of our vehicles, and into a vehicle that was placed via the map editor, THEN they shot at me :P But I could drive...
