Well looks like there has been some kind of drama and MrSherenai has pulled out of the porting project. Release ofthe server files seems rather uncertain at this point. Apparently (if I'm understanding it right) he is unhappy about this post from a German dayz community.
I'm not really sure...
Yes, just adjust the month, year and date settings in your HiveExt.ini file. Also change your type to 'static'. I use the following,
;Possible values: Local, Static
Type = Static
;If using Static type, the year/month/date to set the date to
Year = 2012
Month = 7
Date = 3
Yeah that was an issue when I first played it as well. They updated that on the primary test server (dayzland.eu I think) so it isn't so bad but I think they other 10 or so servers that probably just copied their files somehow they haven't gotten that update yet.
yeah I'm wondering the same. I posted earlier today in their tunngle thread asking for an update on their progress. Hopefully we'll hear something soon.
Honestly I thought it was a bit too empty in some areas so it would be nice to get it into Bliss where we can add some buildings.
weird. it looks like you are doing it all correctly. Maybe use navicat or something and edit the use to grant all privileges to the user. I have had problem using the usual statements from time to time for some reason.
make sure for the [email protected] that the ip x.x.x.x is the ip of the remote user and not 127.0.0.1 or localhost. I'm guessing you already know this but just to be sure.
