Hey Jwo,
I'm looking for someone to set up a HC for my vanilla DayZ server. I was wondering if you would be able to help out. It will include a decent sized donation to your paypal account if you can. Thanks in advance.
It's not that DayZ is forcing us on 112555 they are actually telling us not to use it at all. The problem lies with DayZCommander currently. DayZCommander has yet to update their client so people can update to the new steam beta patches (working ones) and make it cooperate with the steam server...
It's looks a bit weird to me so just add another line beneath that to be sure.
5 !="currentInvites" !="remExField" !="remExFP"
And make sure to reload events using Dart or just restart your server.
Yea this:
createMarkerLocal='STR';
setMarkerTextLocal='STR';
setMarkerTypeLocal='STR';
Is just for the map markers. And since you don't want those you can just put that back in your AH.sqf.
I managed to get everything up and running with a somewhat hacked together DLL and including the 999 function (Reality database working 100%). Check it out on www.dystopia-dayz.com
Well I am using all the new database system from the new 1.8.1 patch. Changed the way vehicles/deployable's save to the database with their HiveExt.dll and hardcoded stuff like buildings and loadouts with scripts. Untill someone releases a modified HiveExt.dll for Reality I guess I'll have to...
Ok I wrote a couple of scripts for respawning missing vehicles and removing broken or old vehicles and for cleaning dead old bodies. Now whats left is boundaries checks for vehicles in debug and deployable checks.
So for the last 3 days I´ve been working on merging the DayZ 1.8.1 files with my current server files. As far as I tested I got everything working. But now I need to figure out how to spawn the vehicles like we use to do. I need to check in the object_data table wether there is vehicles missing...
The PBO program you use most likely removes the %PREFIX% file on repack or unpack causing your server not to be able to find your server_monitor files and such.
Well I know there is a issue with the 1.8.0.2 patch but lowering your loot cycle minutes won't really work since apparantly the loot cycle in 1.8.0.2 is getting locked out(not sure what they mean by that). If you still want to try its int variables.sqf witch is located in your dayz_mod.pbo so...
There is not really a 'fix' for it. There is a work around tho. Will help alot almost removing it completely. Like hangender said: Look at what origins did with their loading screen.
