Last night I joined my Tavi server that you helped me setup. I was able to run around, check out the new map, kill those pesky zombies.
Today, I tried joining again to simply test something and I am able to join but I can't see the screen, it is stuck on the DayZ Epoch black...
A session of teamviewer might be in order.
I tried to create a new database using workbench and I was getting a bunch of epoch.sql not found errors and other similar error indicating of misplaced or missing files, which I found interesting.

First of all, before I delete my character from the hive, will this also delete my character from my ordinary Epoch server??

Alright, I've launched the server, launched Arma2:OA with the appropriate expansions, joined the server and after 30 minutes of trying to join I cancelled the process.
So, what was happening was that the game kept cycling through the "Waiting for server to start authentication" process, over...

Ok, I just tried joining the server. Launches beautifully but at one point, the client machine says in the Multiplayer setup screen: "Receiving mission file (0kb/0kb)", and it freezes there. It read the original mission file of 53kb without a problem, so why this??

Ok, I didn't know that the hiveext.ini had to be in that profiles folder. Well I learned something new! :cool:

Out of curiosity, there is a line in the init.sqf within the DayZ_Epoch_11.Tavi MPMission folder that states dayZ_instance = 11. Does this 11 have to match the mission number?? Do the upper or lower case letter make a difference?

I did copy the hiveext.ini over. I simply copied over the entire Epoch folder and renamed it Tavi, verified that the cfg files were pointing and calling the correct files.
Alright, tried that server again and keep getting that local host error message. The link below is the folder containing my RPT file, hive log, server_console log and the screendump at the time of the error.
