I tried that, but it made no difference. It's weird. I had no issue changing time when I was running Pwnoz0r's pack (so, I know I'm changing the right settings).
I think I might have this issue. I cannot alter the time no matter what settings I change. I have re-download the file with no change. Can I get it somewhere else?
I finally got it to work. Had to try every combo of export and import settings before I could do it with zero errors. Tested fine so far. Thanks for the offer, Edward. I think I am good now.
There is one negative. The fixed files had all of the vehicles and aircraft in the database, but my...
Well, that's somewhat reassuring. Hopefully, I can get this to work again (was working until I applied the latest fixes).
After copying over my original files back, it looks like the hive won't connect. A player can never enter the game--goes into immediate red chain with no connection...
Thank you. I restored my old files, and am exporting now. All sorts of export options--I just left them at default. Is there anything else I should do? I feel like I'm running blind.
I installed Pwnoz0r's latest fix files, then rajkosto's couple of fixes. I only replaced the individual updated files. The game runs fine, but all players became new spawns with all of their gear, tents, and vehicles missing.
Any help correcting this would be appreciated.
Thank you for this. Looking forward to hearing more.
Is there any way possible to add a tree, but with the attributes of a doghouse? This would allow placement of "trees" that would spawn zombies, and could be placed anywhere.
I am using the batch file linked in the second post of this thread (sorry can't post links yet): //opendayz.net/index.php?threads/rolling-backups.1842/#post-3560.
For step 4 in the instructions, I have it pointed to "dayz_data". Is this correct? Is there anything else I need to backup?
+1
I want to make it so new spawns start with nothing at all. It fits the back story of jumping off of a boat full of zombies to escape (that's why we spawn on the coast). We manage to escape and swim to shore, but no supplies/equipment were procured in the panic during the escape.
