Did he allready message you about the basebuilding issue of objects not removing from database? I am having that same issue for weeks now and i don't hear or see anything from mr daimyo
Yes i get that but how do i convert the database that's allready there now ?
(P.S. There are around 17 pages x 34 objects allready built by appr. 22 players)
OK so it does not work on anything yet but Epoch :) which is good to know, I really only want to know how to change to playerUID instead of playerID and how to change that accordingly in the db as well, as I do not understand anything about what gnif guy is telling here...
allright great, one question though, you mention to change the db also to the players UID instead of ID and refer to gnif's post, now i am an original donkey when it comes to making changes or write anything in a database, ive looked it his code and honestly do not know what to do with it as he...
As for not wanting to crossbuild your server full, we are cross checking the db every month for player UID's if one has not come onto the server for more than 3 weeks all deployables with that UID is deleted.
If you only would want your admins to build bases it's not really that good for your player base on said server, on the other hand, if you want the players to pay for a base on a free game it's better to use the arma editor anyway and set map restrictions on each base.
Yes, so i went about changing the call to that variables, these variables do not even reside in the dayz_code with me anymore, but as you have just used that variables it's not even neccesary to use the core code file :) which makes me glad xD
That would be awesome but as i not host my server myself I do not even have access to that variables.sqf that is used in the dayz_code so how do I know what is used exactly to make my server work ? P.S. I tried that but server don't even start btw
You also mention variables.sqf in the code that needs to be changed, this means the script is only for dedicated boxes as for hosted gameservers the variables sits tidely into the core code of dayz (dayz_code) and can not be changed.
Unless it can get variables from a different file as well...
Had nothing to do with handgrenades or not, i fixed it yopu just need to add thae same line in your server_functions.sqf for making the burning barrel then set the last (JerryCan) to 1, also, you mention that you do not know what isSimulated is for, well if set to true then it enables the...
Nice to mention that on a readme lol but i do not keep the handgrenades after building a grave though.
Do you also happen to know how to get the jerrycans showing in the build menu ingame?
You say in first line "Make a copy of or modify your existing custom variable.sqf" But i dont see a reference to variables.sqf anywhere in the remaining code, I do not have a variables.sqf, well I do have one but canBoil=-1 does not appear to be in it and honestly i'm not going to mess up my...
Did you look inside the database also it might be possible that you have the same ID set when injecting the sql and have faulted out, if so you have them dissappear also.
Allright, ive added the jerrycans to the basebuilding, now when making a burning barrel the 2 jerrycan required A. Do not show up in the build menu and B. The Jerrycans do not dissapear after making a burning barrel.
What do I have to do to make um dissappear after making them in your...
Your player is getting kicked for "createVehicle _pos" look for a line in your createvehicle.txt or scripts.txt which holds the _pos and a grenade around line #19 (normally line 21, mostly it moves two lines) when found either do a ! on the pos at the end of that line or at the grenade. I can...
And get kicked again, no ... do not set everything to 1 This is highly unsecure and will let in all hackers, also those without cd-keys. check you scripts.log and look for #19, then look what the restriction exactly was, filter that in your scripts.txt and then add on the end of that line...
