I used a "Dirty Fix" Posted by Snake I believe many pages back (would take me too long to find). I have not had any further inventory mishaps using that code.... yet. I don't think I have given it enough time to be 100% sure though.
Yes this would work. I find it is too easy to gain humanity now that I have increased the number of zombies that spawn. Which file is this variable set? Would like to increase it to perhaps 30/40.
This is not the issue. in origins you shouldnt be able to gain humanity from only killing zombies. Once you have gained your first chunk of zombie humanity the system should prevent you gaining any more until you give another player a bloodbag/painkillers etc etc. its supposed to be a combo...
I tried many different combinations in the init file. None seemed to make any difference. It was always 4 minutes in game = 1 minute in RL.
So in the end I commented out the line in the init file which sets it back to default 1:1. Reboot server every 8 hours, jobs a good'un.
Like this...
Adding to my Humanity problems, i've also noticed that the biplane is not re spawning after being destroyed. Is it supposed to be part of pCleanup or pMain?
I believe it is called AN-2 Biplane. There is no Object with this name in the object_data table.
I'm running Github files... Seems pretty stable to me, define "broken" ?!
Hmm CPU is the heaviest resource used with Dayz, Official Hardware Requirements from DayZ site is;
Either you are attempting to run Origins with a Pentium 3 or something is very wrong with your server configuration.
Im running Dayz Origins Server on a Dual Core 3.6ghz. Most players Ive had online is 14 and my processor was sitting happily at around 40% usage.
Ok new one here, don't think this has been discussed yet,
Quoted from DayZ Origins Wiki;
This feature seems to be broken on my server. You can just mass kill zombies and you are given 300 humanity over and over without mixing up a combo of first aid inbetween....
Anyone else notice this?
Yep seen this on mine and other servers also, most of the time it has been the UH-1 that leaked though. I know for a fact that not repairing the windscreen glass can cause this. Possibly a bug in there somewhere?
I don't currently have a chopper doing this on my server but perhaps there is...
Gagi, if you are not here to add anything constructive or help the community and you don't use any of the files submitted in the Git.... Why are you even reading these forums? Lets stop flaming and get back to what this thread is all about....
Working together to make a stable Origins server...
Hmm not getting any crashes on mine at all, only fix from the git that I haven't used is the bikey one... I also have a short restart period of 4 hours and my processor is total pants compared to the ones others are using on here. I'm running Origins on Server 2008 R2 with latest updates.
Not...
Nah its added backslashes because of the way I copied it, my code looks the same as yours. The ONLY difference I can see between my broken houses, my working houses and your working house is a missing;
,[[],[]]]
At the end of the line of the broken ones. Is this the cause? If so why?
EDIT...
Ok, just read through all 70 pages again and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I'm having houses loosing their inventories on my server randomly. I can see the data in the row but for some odd reason it doesn't appear in game. For example...
Sorry Pain, the error started to come up after I imported your new .sql into my database. There was an error during the import (cant remember the exact error text.).
After running: SET GLOBAL log_bin_trust_function_creators = 1
the .sql imported without error and the "dayzorigins.rndspawn does...
