Welcome to the Abyssal Depths DayZ server. The short version: this is a survival-centric DayZ Expansion server. That doesn’t mean it’s a PVE only server. PVP can and will happen, but the environment will be your most common threat.

Who would like this server:
If you like spawning in and finding an M4 in the nearest shed, this server is not for you. If you like 100k starts, this server is not for you. However, if you are thrilled by finally finding your favorite color canteen while narrowly escaping being eaten by wolves, this server is for you. If you want to test your DayZ survival skills in a hostile environment surrounded by things that want to kill you, then this server is for you.
Rules:
Not many. Obviously, no cheating or hacking is permitted. Please be respectful.
What IS cheating: Glitching inside of a wall texture to shoot at other players. Duping loot. Using hacks or ESP.
What ISN’T cheating: Jumping up on a car to avoid being hit by zombies. Emptying a magazine before selling it to a trader.
DO NOT ambush players immediately outside of trader zones. I won’t define what “immediately outside” means. The next town over would be fine, but 100 feet outside it would not.
I would ask that you try not to kill on site outside of military zones, but that’s not a rule.

Key features:
- Balanced and Variable Loot - Several mods as item variety and the loot is balanced to provide a sense of progression
- Discoverable Base Building Locations - Building is only possible in pre-defined locations (no hogged-up cities with walls across the road.) Things like tents/barrels can be placed anywhere
- TONS of zombies (PvZ mod) - You may face large hordes of zombies and having a teammate will increase your odds of survival
- eAI - Hostile AI bandits roam around the map. They are scarce enough that you may never encounter them. eAI provides the constant threat of PVP even on an empty server.
- Missions - The default Survivor Missions are included with custom missions to possibly be implemented later
- Cold Chernarus Plus Gloom - Frigid environment provides a challenge and encourages emergent gameplay
- Custom Trader Locations - Vehicles are NOT buyable. They must be found and repaired. Only a few essential items are buyable, but everything is sellable. The price of end game items is balanced to provide a challenge and long-term goals
- Streamer Friendly - While there is a kill-feed, there is no periodic server announcements that must be hidden
- Public Password – Current P/W: EarlyAlpher
An alternative to whitelisting. The server will be locked with a publicly posted password. This way your friends don’t have to wait for whitelisting as you can just share the password with them. It will be changed periodically. See the discord (link above) for the most recent password
