Balota Custom Addition

hi chris good stuff with balota kinda a maze :) found one problem though one of barracks you carnt get into a few doors due to a bush. just giving you heads up ( you got any plans for other parts of map? ) would be intrested in a few rock caves on map wall round stary (castle wall) bit like klen.

I used to have players just loot farm the Balota addon so I eventually set up a static AI spawn of 6 military grade AI. Needless to say, they stopped camping.

I think you may be able to get past that bush with a little effort. I've moved on to hosting an Origins Mod server so I'm falling behind on the DayZ mod stuff.
 
in the last patch did they take out the
if (!_parachuteWest and !(locked _object)) then { code line out of the dayz_server\compile\server_updateObject.sqf cos i cannot find it to install ai mission

I no longer support or use DayZ. Until a REAL software developer, like Zenimax (Elder Scrolls Online), Bethesda Studios (Skyrim, Oblivion), Ubisoft, Dice, EA, BioWare, etc, get their hands in the Zombie Survival MMO, I won't get back into it. In my opinion, Bohemia is too defunct as far a being a well rounded developer to fully be able to put out a great product, which is what DayZ deserves to be. The potential for DayZ is too great and Bohemia won't be able to take it to it's full potential. This is not an insult to Dean Hall, but IMHO, he should have taken his idea elsewhere to another developer, and maybe he did. I don't know. But what I do know, is that after 8 months of playing, through various mods, and even Origins, I'm burnt out. It lacks story, it lacks environment, it lacks appeal, it lacks interest, it has no replay value. It's potential is great, but it's like the gameplay, options, abilities, just hits a stone wall.

Speaking to replay ability, you contradict yourself. You played for 8 months and played various mods and even Origins. You said it yourself, you burnt yourself out. The game has great replay value and there are constantly new mods and features to add, etc. You are just bored of the game, which is totally fine and understandable. I loved Skyrim, played nearly 300 hours on it, and then I got bored of it and I can't really play it anymore. I think this is true with any game. Eventually you just burn yourself out.
