Battleye Failed to Initialize

I am having the EXACT same problem as the guy in the above link.

I try to run the server and it deletes BEServer.dll, I replace it with the latest .dll from the Battleye website and the same happens.

As the other guy said, If I disable Battleye from the server settings than the server runs fine. There is no longer any "Update Battleye" on Steam so I've used "verify integrity of game cache" and it says that only one file is missing and will be redownloaded which refers to BEServer.dll

Edit: I have found a post on the Bohemia forums that also has this issue however they didn't specify a clear solution, anyone want to help me understand?

I've spent a good amount of this week trying to figure this problem out. I would sincerely appreciate it if any of you could help me out.

I found the solution.

A complete re-install of Arma 2 and Arma 2:Operation Arrowhead fixed this issue for me.

I uninstalled both through steam and then I checked and made sure that everything was deleted in the ArmA 2 and ArmA 2 OA directory folders located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common"

I also made sure to delete "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\ArmA 2" and "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA"
