Debugging Mods

Hi, I have been attempting to debug my mods on a local server using DayZDiag_x64.exe and workbench (DayZ Tools):

I am able to run my server in debug but the client is having a problem. When attempting to run the DayZDiag_x64.exe by passing "-mod and -forcedebugger" parameters, either steam or dayz screws up and complains I am passing parameters and launches "DayZ_x64.exe" instead. Even if I select my local mods, which gives me option after receiving the error, I cannot connect to my server due to bad version, because server is running "DayZDiag_x64.exe" and client is running "DayZ_x64.exe"

If I launch "DayZDiag_x64.exe" with no options, stream doesn't complain but I am unable to select my local mods, seems to bypass the launcher where I can select my local mods.

Any proper direction from someone who has experience this similar issue and has a resolution will be greatly appreciated.
