I'm 100% sure this is a mistake, and I can prove it. We've responded to all of your emails already, and require our customers to login to their support portal to view and respond to these tickets here: http://survivalservers.kayako.com/

I know these guys and deal with them a lot. I spoke with Chad from SS and he checked and verified that all of your emails were responded to.
 
Whats really great about this post is it was dead and forgotten until Chad revived it after 4 months ...

I have to say I do like Survival Servers. At one point their Wiki was able to be edited by anyone and I happened to notice it was offering some french porn or something like that. The next day I noticed that someone had replaced that with an advertisement for my server instead .. how thoughtful of them!

I must admit, that's pretty entertaining. But the current wiki doesn't have anything along those lines, just information on basic server settings and antihack controls.
 
Thank God you caught this at the end of November when he cancelled in July! I'd be he hasn't moved on to another server provider since then! And I thought Vilayer was bad with respond times!
 
Vilayer best host but worlds worst support.
Support is so objective. I dont find vilayer to be any better than my $7 a month server but I keep it anyways for some reason .. and dont use it.
But the support now that is a different story. I have asked only once, got a quick reply. But the ultimate was this: A guy I was helping had a vilayer server and he was getting quick responses and then something UNHEARD of occurred. I noticed someone was on my Teamspeak that I did not recognize. So I go ask him if he needed anything and it was a Vilayer Support Rep! He came to MY teamspeak (and waited an hour) looking for the customer so he could fix his situation.

Oh one negative thing on vilayer though. They replied quickly, but they refused to provide information i am sure they knew. My Windows VPS was 'crashing' randomly for no reason. Asked them if they had any clue and they had no idea why it would randomly restart. The solution was that I had not entered an activation code in Windows so Windows 2008 itself would just restart as an incentive to activate. How could they NOT know that with all the VPS's they rent? LIARS!
