Help! DayZ Server installation! Gonna Pay!

Looking for someone who can make a DayZ Namalsk server with custom scripts.
What I've done: Bought a GameServer on Nitrado.net. Installed DayZ 1.8.7 on the game server. Uploaded @Namalsk (0.75) via filezilla. attached in the launchparameters -@Namalsk. I tried around a bit with the raw dayz_server.pbo and mpmission of Chernarus.
The server is already running, but it takes ages to get InGame and there are still no custom scripts installed. The database is set for Chernarus (MSQL) (so I don't know in fact if this is a problem)

The real problem: to create a functional dayz_server.pbo and mpmission, which is compatible with DayZ Chernarus mod 1.8.7 and Namalsk 0.75 (1.7.7.1).

i've been wondering how to run vanilla dayzmod on a different map. I've asked around as well and no replies yet. Those errors look related to the map coords and/or size. Did you change the mission at all? I was looking in mission.sqm and it seems like there are settings for it (search on "Chernarus"), but I'm not sure

Ive put the Mission.sqm files from namalsk into the once from dayz 1.8.7 like you would do on overpoch.

The Server loads fine until it says smth like Creating Objects.. then i have to wait like 100 seconds to get in. Ive been playing the map namalsk. Namalsk Buildings have no loot yet. Gonna have to do smth about the loot.

And i dont know how to turn off spawn selection.
Every time I die I can choose Balota, etc. as a spawn Location on Namalsk. Like wtf ? ^^
 
If you can pass along whatever you had to layer and/or change on top of vanilla, I'd appreciate it. I run a public server now and I've been thinking of having a hive - this would be great. I might have some time this weekend to look at the errors.

Reading your log again, the error is a divide by zero in server_plantSpawner which is in servr_monitor.sqf -

I see these references:
_SWcorner = getArray(CONFIGBASE_VEHMAINTENANCE >> (worldName) >> "SWcorner");
_NEcorner = getArray(CONFIGBASE_VEHMAINTENANCE >> (worldName) >> "NEcorner");

so i'm wondering if worldname is not defined or not prperly for namalsk. so you might just need to figure out those coords.

Well i have no idea what those divide by Zero Errors are.

It just takes ages to log into the Server.

i guess it is not prperly because i just tried to do it as far as i can. 100% there are some mistakes.
 
I might have some time this weekend to look at the Errors.


maybe you could help me getting this Server to work?

My Server was pretty crowded and I have all the old files but they are unfortunatly compatible with 1.7.7.1 and we could try to make it work on 1.8.7.

imagine how sick it would be to have a dmr camo on namalsk ? :D
 
Can you give me whatever changes you have to get the namalsk server running on top of dayzmod vanilla. I need the code and any changes made for the databases.

I'd like to apply them to a test server I have here to replicate so I can debug locally. I will share everything.

I'm thinking the divide by 0 is the plantspawner code trying to find the boundaries of the map, which doesn't have a setting for Namalsk in the code. The loot spawn code changed in 187, but when I looked it looked like the mostly the same core files need to change as before.

i also uploaded the dayz_anime.pbo from dayz vanilla mod to the namalsk Folder.
and i added the nst.bikey to the keys Folder. that was is. I guess.
 
So it takes so Long to load the charakta data. After uve done it first and u spawned and died. You can choose the chernarus Default spawn Locations. Well if u click on one of those somehow u spawn. but it takes ages to spawn . u are few seconds in the water and then slowly u get teleported away from the spawn debug water Zone and spawn with ur loot etc on the coast.

the first error was about the code not having the correct coords for the map, so I wonder if the spawn is trying to find a safe spot not in the water and is spinning, just randomly looking for a spot. just a thought. hoping to get into this on the weekend.
 
ok, I'm not getting as far as you, but something is loading. I get errors in the RPT and then the console window spins loading the mission, but if I kill the server, the client exits and end up a the menu screen with a namalsk background - so i've made a bit of progress!

I'm confused about the server config - I can't think I would use the namalsk server/mission code - would need the dayz code.

Now I see an RPT error that looks like it can't read from or connect to the Db - strange.
I have 3 servers - vanilla, epoch and now namalsk on the same machine. epoch can connect to the database, but neither vanilla nor namalsk can - something is screwy

Also, the client gets an error about - the server doesn't have the correct version..

Hmm, reading old guides. Also emailed Surak at night stalkers.cz

ye ive added the dayz_anime.pbo from vanilla dayz to the namalsk addons, because it said ur Server is running an outdated Version of dayz_anim. what do you mean with ca_dubbing error ? can i solve the symbolic link Problem with filezilla (ftp).

Sumrak* ye i had him on skype and i tried to message him too. not sure last time i asked him he was busy with arma3/standalone i guess.
maybe he can sort something out.

well my database is the vanilla one. it is dayz mod chernarus with added lauchparameters from namalsk and the database works fine i guess. chernarus vehicles do spawn on the namalsk map.
 
I havnt seen the first part of ur message so:

Ive made just a working vanilla Server with some changes (addons)
Ive copied the dayz_anim.pbo and dayz_anim.pbo.dayz.bisign from the vanilla addons Folder into the namalsk addon Folder.

u know there is the keys Folder where u can put in bi.bikey etc and ive placed there the chernarus and the namalsk one inside of it
so the dayz.bikey and the nst.bikey

Server launchparameters and @Hive is were the dayz_server.pbo is located if u are wondering.
