Introduction of the Hrc-Gaming.de DayZ: Epoch Server
What is Hrc-Gaming.de and who are the people behind that name?
Hrc-Gaming.de is a nice little multi-gaming community, that finally arrived in the very epic (but not less buggy – *cough*) of DayZ, or to be more precise DayZ – Epoch on Chernarus.
Kazume and me (Shisha) have been playing games together for over 6 years now and will be your administrators on this server. Together with a bunch of friendly and helpful guys and girls we are running this nice and custom DayZ – Epoch Server.
About our server:
Our server is running since 9th February 2014 on a very stable root-server, which means that there is practically no lag or desync caused even by a very crowded server. You should also always have a great ping and very decent FPS compared to other servers you may have played on, that are not hosted on a root-server but rather a home PC. So if you want no more worries and heart attack moments when your driver suddenly drives through walls so you panic eject just to see that you were desynchronizing, then our server is just right for you!

Features of our server:
- We have customized/ optimized the prices of armed vehicles and many more items
a) to make vehicles a value worth finding and safely returning it to a trader to sell an everyday challenge even seasoned and experienced players
b) to help our newly arrived players to explore the world of DayZ without getting instantly killed by a Browning Machine Gun of a HMMWV that is available on every second corner.
- 200+ vehicles limit to provide the above mentioned that we will adjust to the needs of our players so that there will always be free vehicles to find but not that overload you can find on many other servers and also not 200 locked ones.
- No plot pole requirement because we do not want you to need plenty of gold to build your first, let's say wooden safe house. You can build where you want and as much as you want on our server (as soon as you have the materials needed
) but if you want to build a plot pole to prohibit anybody from building near you e.g. a staircase over your nicely set up defence wall you are free to do so!
- SafeZones at Klen, Stary and Bash to assure you will not get killed selling your valuables or buying your new equipment
- SelfBloodBag for the lone wolves among you
- (Very) active admins and supporters to solve your problems right away
- TSW anti-hack and cheating tools for more safety and better support
- Full database backup every 10 minutes, just in case anything does happen
- Public TS3 server for active communication between the players on our server and for fast and personal support (password secured squad/team channels can be requested)
- Custom debug monitor with many useful features for a better gaming experience
- Tow&Lift so you can easily drop someone off, sell/buy something or help your mates, without the need to ditch your car
- 30 custom AI-missions
- Anti-Backpack-Stealing in SafeZones so your items stay where you put them
- Snap-Build (you are able to toggle it on or off) to help you build faster and perfectly straight walls
- No salvaging for locked vehicles so you do not come online and find your care damaged or wheel-less
Features coming soon:
- Take clothes from dead players so skins do not get lost (and who doesn't want to look good in a zombie apocalypse?)
- Challenging AI-sector(s) to get epic loot for your squad (without killing other players and losing your humanity if you are a hero player)
- Last but not least: We will gradually update our map with new buildings, new loot spots/hideouts and so on so there will always be something new worth exploring and visiting
