Introduction
Zero Hour is a Semi-Serious, Hardcore Roleplaying (RP) server catering to players who would like to be immersed into DayZ's decaying world, complete with roles, strict non-KOS (Kill on Sight) rules, active moderators, and a tight-knit community willing to roleplay! We understand that roleplaying is not everyone's cup of tea, hence we also have rules to cater to the hardcore survivors, provided they do not disrupt others' experience in RP.

Roleplaying
As explained above, we are all for roleplaying with a non-KOS and NLR (New Life Rule). While players can choose to drop in and start afresh, we also allow special roles that would give players a foundation for their story and appropriate gear if available. However, normal startup survivors will not be hindered by geared players in any way, as this is only for roleplaying purposes, and the given gear will be balanced.
Do note that the role system is still being worked on and will likely be expanded and changed as the community grows.
The Server
We are an English speaking community with active moderators and administrators, ready to assist you when required. While the community can be laid-back, the rules are still to be strictly maintained as they are there to ensure that everyone has a fun experience.
The server is run on a capable server box on a stable connection. The server runs 24/7, and while there can be downtimes, the server should be up in a few moments!
The server is modded and runs on Chernarus. The modlist can be found on our discord server.

After you join in, a limited selection of Discord channels will be available to you while you register. A queries channel serves to provide your answers to your questions and assistance with registering. Once you've registered via a Google Form, you can contact an admin via the queries channel to evaluate your form thereafter. Once a short evaluation period has passed, you will be notified of your results, and given access to the rest of the server, should those results be satisfactory.
A note that the registration does not take long at all! We expect it to take at least 5-10 minutes with all appropriate admins available. If not, we expect it to take, at most, under a day.
