Server AI increase result

Any one experience lag after adding more AI on the map?
becoz for me, when I edit the percentage and AI's per groups, the server will become (more and more lag) i was thinking is this only my problem or others experience the problem, too?

which total numbers are you talking about ?

would be good to have some figures to compare.

e.g.

Number of static AI on the map
Number of static AI groups on the map

Number of AI / grid
Number of players active, max number of AI active

this is my SAR_cfg_grps_chernarus file (for some reason i can't upload the file) I am sorry
i did change it bit in Init_UPSMON file such as KRON_UPS_react,KRON_UPS_Cycl
but i figure that won't make the server (major lag) it is the uppon file i edit.

depends what you changed in Init_UPSMON. There's a reason i put the most important UPSMON values into my SAR_config.

With the wrong params for UPSMON you can kill a server in a second ...
 
well, how about you do some calculations and check how many AI you enabled ?

Try to reduce the numbers, and see if it helps. There are so many possibilities for change / adjustments with AI, that i cant help you here without a lot more information.

Last but not least the potential performance of your server plays a role too ...

i have try not edit Init_UPSMON, but the server still lag (becoz i add more AI's)

But you don't know it's because you've added AI - you said yourself:

I m sorry I misunderstand u, i mean i have try to change Init_UPSMON (and) SAR_cfg_grps_chernarus.sqf. after i have experience lag, i have go bak everything as first step did not change anything. and then i try to edit each of them so i can see the differents. another stupid way to say is, i try edit Init_UPSMON file and get bak to the server (see any lag) and then edit SAR_cfg_grps_chernarus.sqf (again to see any lag). P.S. KRON_UPS_react,KRON_UPS_Cycl is inside of the Init_UPSMON file.

Thanks a lot Sarge, so are u saying i should not change Init_UPSMON that will cause the server lag's?:(
