Something I need help with. Would be cool for the community.

For the past 3 months I have played on my favorite dayz server. The server had many custom Addons on it. I became interested in servers and purchases one in the first month. Of all the Addons the server I know I can add into mine. The only one I need help with is this. At every custom base the server had. Lets say the medic base. There would be a few medic tents around and there would be boxes and boxes of medical supplies everywhere. Not to mention backpacks to. Then after restart they were still there. I really want this on my server. How could I do this.



My second question is this. I want my server to have massive amounts of vehicles. Is there a way to run a script to spawn tons of vehicles in whereabouts of my choosing after every restart without deleting all the other vehicles in the map? Or something along the lines of this.

You can increase the number of allowed vehicle spawns and add vehicles to the map through the database or you can spawn vehicles with a script that get deleted and then spawn back where they started on restart. The problems with having a ton of vehicles are that they slow your server down and they make the game too easy. An alternative that i'd suggest is using the cardrop script, which will fly an an2 to various locations of your choosing and drop whatever vehicle you want that can be driven and then deleted on restart. This can make it easy for people to find a temporary vehicle to get around in. People generally take cars and run them into something and then leave them or drive them up to NWAF, die, find another car and repeat the process so you end up having a bunch of cars all in one spot.

For the medical boxes and backpacks I'm not sure but my guess would be to make a script to spawn them on restart, should be pretty simple. Let me know if you need help with that. A different way would be to change the loot table for that specific tent making the chance for med boxes say 50% and then 10% for each backpack with 100% chance for the tent to spawn loot. So then you'd go there and find med boxes and backpacks. Either way would accomplish what you want, I'm just not sure exactly what they did on that server, could be either one.
 
Hello. I don't know how to edit the loot spawns. If you could show me how to do this it would be awesome.
