Adding a Map to Pwnozor's Server

I have used the Biss Server before.

I have created a own Map and want to use it with the Pwonozor Server but serveral Errors occurs when i try it.

- I have created a new Template DayZ_2.myMap with the Mission Files Inside.
- I have myMap.Pbo in a Directory called @DayZMyMap
- I have Changed the ServerSTartParameters to the mod:MyMap

The Server starts with my Map. At this Point, all is fine.
When i connect to the Server, it says: "Wrong Key signature".
Ok, this Error ist obsolete, I have changed verifySignatures = 2 to 0 in the ServerIni. But, the following Errors are still there:

The addon/Map "DayZ_sauerland.pbo" is in the Folder /Arma2/@DAYZ_Sauerland. Wrong path?

I am a litlebit frustrated...

Trying the Map in the Editor (Ctrl+e) is boring, No Zombies and Loot. :)

Can anybody help?

have you also made your map available for your dayz client? not only the server files.
 
check your clients log file

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA\arma2oa.RPT
 
The Map is aviable in DayZ. I can play the Map via Editor, but there are no Zombies or Loot. When i try to play the Map via Server the Problems occurs.

Can anybody help me to bind my map to Pwnozors Server? Writing the Config etc?
In wich Directory must the Map?

In ARMA OA the Map will work fine with Missions (Warfare, Single- and Multiplayer). In DayZ they will not!

Hey the easiest way to get your map to work with dayz, and since you made it, is to list all the dayz files in your island config file under the addon sections then binarize your map. Then put all those files into your @dayzmymap\addons folder. Also make sure you change inside the mission file under addons from chernarus to your island name.

I'm currently finishing up, or trying to because I keep adding things, on my map but I have it working great with pwns build and on 1.7.6
If you can't figure it out I can hop on ts some time an help you out
 
Oh one other thing make sure you enable your addon in arma as well and if your using dayz commander you'll need to change the dayz path to your island path

Oh and I'm not 100% on this but I ran into this problem - because I had my original islands pbo named ax_island and even tho the name in the config was listed as grandmanan when loading into dayz it pops up ax_island as the name of the island. I think it take whatever your config file lists in the beginning. I ended up having to rewrite my config file to get it to say grandmanan when loading into the game

All Addonfiles are in the /@DayZSauerland/addons Directory.

The Missionfile is Edited and all "Chernarus" is changed to "Sauerland".

When i start the "mission" as Multiplayer, DayZ stuck in the Loadingscreen.
When i start the Server and try to connect, DayZ stuck in "Waiting for Host" and upper right is the Playername Red flashing.

All my Custommaps since Operation Flashpoint are working, but this first DayZ Map will destroy my nervs.. :)

Ok,

i have found the Problem why the Addons not found. Arma reads Filenames in "Case Sensitive". DayZ is not Dayz.. ;-)

Now, i can connect but new problems occur:

Receiving Authentification tooks a long Time.
Next, DayZ stucks in Receiving Character Data.

Must the SQL Database changed?

Hmm. Can you post your mission file?
I'll throw mine up when I get home later today so you can compare.
Also make sure you change your spawn points to work for your map. And in the server pbo (I think it's this one but I'll double check when I get home today) if your map is smaller than chernarus (although you should prob configure it anyway to your map) you should change the debug "closeness value".

I know before I lowered mine anytime someone logged off in the upper west region of my map it would random spawn them somewhere else because it was showing up as if they where in the debug fields.

DayZ plays Hangingman when it will load the Character Data. :(

I have a Internetbandwith less than 1 Mbit, so it took Time to upload the map. When done, you can take a look in the Map-SDK . ;-)

I forgot to put up my mission file(I can do that tonight) but I know in mine the only addon change I did was the very first addon directly under class missions I changed chernarus to grandmanan. I left all the other spots that say chernarus alone.

Did you inherit properties from chernarus or did you write you own config for each?
 
I didn't have to delete anything. I'll throw my mission file up when I get home. Just change the spawn locations to yours and the file addon grandmanan to your name and see if that works.

I will try this.

I have downloaded Bliss Server again. Make a new Template and the map works with my Missionfile.

When i try to start the Map with Pwnozor, DayZ is stuck in Loading Character. Its a litle bit confusing.
Whenn i want to Develop the Map, i want that the Map is still running on all Serverplatforms.
 
I think so. I think ist the MySql Database.

There's some arma1 stuff out there I think if you search bohemias site you can find them. But mostly everything arma2 is binarized. You probably would have to create custom stuff yourself.
