After playing vanilla for a few months, I switched back to Overwatch. I tried several servers and always seemed to land on servers that were poorly administrated (I seemed to get killed by admins a lot...) and/or servers that had bloated mission files. Anyway, I finally found a home on DayZ1's server: 69.39.239.134:3085
It's new and certainly worth checking out.
Helpful admins that don't hunt you down, infiniSTAR anti-hack, auto-refuel, and there are some great custom areas that I haven't seen on other servers.
