Dedicated Server

Hi all,

Would like to go dedicated, appreciate if anyone would be able to share some knowledge with me.

I doubt it will be running smooth by renting a VPS, if going for dedicated it will be lot more expensive. Any 1 running on VPS? is it possible to host on VPS if gonna make it 50 -70 players.

And if getting a dedicated server, what would be the recommended hardware spec?

I have a dedicated root server with intel g530 @ 2,4 ghz dualcore. Seems a little bit slow for 1.7.7.1
Anyone has a root server where debugfps dont get under 30 fps ? which CPU should i select ? How much ram ? Is a single Harddisk sata 7,2k enough ?
