Has anyone seen this camera issue?

Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?


1 - hop into a vehicle. 3rd person works ok. 1st person works ok.
2 - switch optics (right mouse by default), and the camera view only zooms in (then out when released), rather then changing my view to being down the barrel of the gun (this is what it used to do).

Anyone have any idea of how to fix the view so it's again down the barrel of the weapon?

your gun is more that likely lowered. Just press fire and it will come up

I've had this problem when I've forgotten or inadvertently switched to a throwable item.

This issue was something to do with my mouse's determination to ensure that zoom always took precedence over optics while in vehicles only. (I still don't F'n get it.)

So, I can circumvent by adding a second hotkey for optics. When in a vehicle, I just use that one instead of attempting to use the mouse button.

I've separated zoom and optics... or more accurately, zoom and hold breath. Now my optics and hold breath are on the right mouse and I use a separate key to zoom because I zoom a lot when I'm moving around... and don't need to switch optics or hold my breath while doing that.
