Help with Infistar

and how about these lines
  1. 21:33:22 Warning Message: Script z\addons\dayz_server\init\server_functions.sqf not found
  2. 21:33:22 Warning Message: Script z\addons\dayz_server\missions\DayZ_Epoch_11.Chernarus\dynamic_vehicle.sqf not found
  3. 21:33:22 Warning Message: Script z\addons\dayz_server\missions\DayZ_Epoch_11.Chernarus\mission.sqf not found
 
Okay, your files look okay. I was just going to run it here to test, but i dont' have an active Epoch server to use. So do me a favor. Start your server and post the entire rpt log to the dowload, not pastebin . But wait until you have actually entered the game and are playing.

It doesn't even go in game, it gets stuck on waiting for authentication.
 
Well sure, that what I thought with those errors. so its not infistar, its the server. ....
I will have to install an epoch server and test this out locally.
 
actually .... take a look at those errors up there.

that is looking in your server.pbo for your mission file. and your mission file according to that is supposed to be dayz_epoch_11.chernarus, not dayz_mission

Just can't get it to work. Surely I'm not the only one installing infistar with DayZ.ST. Hopefully, this won't take too long to fix. Thanks for your help.
 
I have just switched from dayz.st to vilayer today and i have gotten infistar to work with dayz.st it honestly should work as long as you have a default and a up to date server.pbo and have followed the instructions it makes me confuzzled why its not working for you but anyway id contact infiSTAR for more help
 
Again ...this isn't an infistar problem, the entire server does not start. I just can't test it right now because I don't have an epoch server available at the moment, maybe later tonight I will test it.
You have errors where none of your files are found.. I posted it in previous posts.
Since your files seem okay, it may not even be a problem that is within your ability to fix. But your problem CERTAINLY is not infistar. I would submit a ticket to dayz.st, or quicker contact them on their IRC channel. And see if you can get your server a fresh install. If you have an option on your control panel to install fresh, do that.

Again .. you need a working server before you can worry about infistar.

The server worked before i installed infistar. I must of done something wrong? I tried installing it twice... Should I try again? Maybe I'm making a mistake.
 
Its not the filters, its something likely beyond your control.
REINSTALL YOUR SERVER.
Look at those errors. Your mission is not found but its looking in the Dayz_server.pbo for your mission file. Your Server_monitor.sqf file is not found. Your server_functions.sqf file is not found.
REINSTALL YOUR SERVER.
if that doesn't work you will need to contact dayz.st support with a ticket and ask them to fix it.
To reiterated. These errors are not caused by anything that we can fix .. IMHO.
 
Tip of advice ... i loved DayZ.st but when you have a problem on it theres zero help from the staff which made me switch server hosters because if u contacted server support they would actually be able to go in and see what me and shootingblanks cant see

Can you send me a clean server pbo please? That's the problem I'm sure. Even when i change the slightest bit of code it doesn't work. :eek:
 
I have had issues with the pbo extraction program in the past. When it packs the pbo its just a different size and then it doesn't work. are you using this one http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=16369

This file has the default server.pbo and mission files http://goo.gl/9YqyGA

You will notice it should have the same file layout as your dayz.st server and your mission is in a folder called mpmissions and is not named dayz_mission, but instead its dayz_epoch_11.chernarus.
