Holy book check on infection?

How about we check player inventory for a "holy book" and greatly reduce or eliminate the chance of becoming infected if they are in possession of it?
 
but wouldn't the fact that zombies are running around eating peoples faces off whilst people shoot each other point to the non existence of topic of said book and therefore mean chances of infection should be greatly increased?

If you are talking about DayZ, they never explain how the zombies spread, and it is not through infection or you would turn into a zombie when you die. Infection in DayZ is stupid in general, its just the flu.....
