How have you Create this? (I mean the High-Res. Picture)

I use the editor, open the map, scroll and take screenshots. I then stitch them together in GIMP. After that I use a program called tilesgenerator.exe to split it up for the web map.

So much work ... how long did it take?
The images were automatically composite? (In GIMP)

It takes a couple hours maybe 4. but all put together manually in gimp from screenshots. If you just overlap the screenshots a bit it makes it easy enough to line them up.

The only automatic part is making the tiles for the web map from the high res original.

nah, might just be a different setting in the editor map but I'm not sure offhand.
