Making ponds in the 3d editor

How in the hell do you do this effectively? - Celle has the map editor update with it, so I was thinking about adding some ponds and water ways, but I actually have NO IDEA how to effectively do that... The ponds are such a bitch to use, they don't seem to act like normal objects - Any addons or suggestions on how to make it easier?

Anyone with experience know how to do this properly? It's driving me mental

i think you have to do it through mission file, instead of through the database. but i am looking for an addon like this, havent seen any.

A way to do it is take a small structure and hold both the water and it at the same time, but ... uggh that's annoying.

im going to look into it more. i think it has the same problems with Roads and other items like it. also last time i tried they never showed up

Actual ponds that you can shape the way you want is only possible in the map editor, Visitor.
