New scripter, help needed

so i just have a few questions. I'm running a server off of DayZ.ST... and what i'm wondering is when i edit pbo's to add auto-refuel or any added script .. do i just upload pbo file to the advanced settings and it should work or do i have to go into an arma folder and edit things in there to work too?
 
If you have edited the PBO files correctly, just uploading them through the advanced settings would work. Please note you can only edit dayz_1.chernarus.pbo and dayz_server.pbo without needing players to download custom client-side files.
