remove dead player body after x minutes

Hi,

I have searched but could not find an awnser. How would I edit the cleanup so player bodies will disappear after say 5 minutes?

dead bodies on the server itself, not in the database.

you could modify the server_playerDied.sqf.

I think if you added the following right at the end it would do the job.

sleep 300; // wait 5 min
deleteVehicle _this; // remove the body

You might also take a look at the bury corpse script cited below, which could be adapted in interesting ways.

You need at the very bottom like:

sleep 900;
deleteVehicle _newObject;

Actually sleep 60; worked fine on my test server with just me... 30minutes into putting this on my production server @ 15mins and my body is still there :\

Try shortening the duration of the timer. From what I understand the times are approximate. That may help you.
