Static spawn in Epoch

Guys, I have tried adding in a specific vehicle through the Arma editor like I do my vehicles. It spawns in but when approached, it disappears. I have a few select locations I would like a helicopter to spawn in on each restart (for a type of gameplay my server does on Epoch) and can't seem to figure it out. Could someone lend a hand or point me in the proper direction?
