Trader city not working?

A player tried to sell a m249 SAW at trader city Stary. For some reason it wouldn't let him sell it to the trader. Other weapons work, I haven't tried all but most of them seem to work. For some reason he cant sell a m249 SAW. Any idea why its happening? Where can I check and see where it might have a script error?
