Unable to view inventory on vehicles in drivers seat

I currently have a dayz.st private server running Chernarus 1.8.0.3. Would anyone know why players are unable to view the inventory of the vehicle while in the drivers seat? Even if the vehicle is off and parked hitting "G" does nothing. Any help is much appreciated!
 
Hmmm, Ive played on a server just like mine that lets you look at the vehicle inventory no matter what. Whether you inside the vehicle or outside you can view it.
 
Bump.. This has to be an easy fix. Was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.
