After doing a few edits in the server_playerSetup.sqf file... down to this.
 
Well, at a dead end. Made so many edit attempts to get out of the sea, lol.

Anyone have a working pbo to share?
 
Well, I got it to work without kill messages or anything else it seems. It's kinda late so I'm sure WTF is going on anymore... been editing the hell out of this just to get that to work once.

Saved a backup of the dayz_server.pbo that worked... I'll check on it more in the morning.
 
Yea, I was having a convo with Thevisad regarding it yesterday and gave me the updates regarding the HiveDLL - I tried about three different hive DLL's; including the one there.

I'm building --with-lingorkillmsgs --with-invcust however, the time we did get it to work was without Kill Messages and without Custom Inventory (I believe) since players were asked where they wanted to spawn, some picked random and others picked an area and it worked.

I did have to make some manual edits; like I saw you changed the values from 1400 to 500 on the random spawn in the player_setup.sqf (or whatever it's named). Then I also had to fix a typo? with a "==4" entry... I entered in a space? All around the same area.

After people were able to spawn into the game and play... we took the server down and replaced with dayz_server.pbo with a 'lingorkillmsgs' package. The kill messages worked flawlessly; but... people started respawning back into the ocean debug.

If you want Skaro... I can send you my PBO's and we can take some of this to PM's and then post how I screwed this up when we're done, lol.
