And that 15 to 1, so they'll spawn 30 to 31 minutes.
But before you do both those changes, suggest u change the 2000 to 4000 and see if that doesnt spread them out more.
What you pasted is a spawn every 5 minutes, but with a variance of 30 minutes, it would be 5-35 minutes. Average of 20 minutes for a spawn. As I understand it, 2000 radius is the default radius from the center of the map (which might be Novy/Starry). Are you sure they weren't spawning...
What is your complete code for heli spawns? One of those determines the area over which the spawns might occur. Have you changef anything else elsewhere?

First set is:
(A*60). A=number of minutes to check for spawn. Change that to 15.
Second set is:
(B*60). B=number of minutes of variance. Change that 1.
Set spawn chance to .99.
As I understand it, that is the (random) variance in time for heli crash spawns checks. I believe it is only positive, meaning a random delay time. For ex, if heli spawn checks are at 50 minutes (50*60) with a variance of 15 min (15*60), checks will randomly be between 50 and 65 minutes.
Ours runs pretty good too. Spawns are indeed buggy. If you log out to lobby and then back, it kickstarts them.
I'll take a buggy Panthera over a Chernarus any day. And even better, a Yshido port.
Military special I -believe- is barracks. IIRC, that includes a lot of trash loot too. The helicrash loot includes the mk48 mod 0. Seeing as they also included g36 weapons, as a player, I'd much prefer the more sure-fire helicrash. Vs trashy loot.
The 1.8 that is out there is not a DayZ port by Yshido. Think it is viLayer?
It's published as ver 1.8, and run by Control Center. Map is great.

Without playing with the loot tables, don't fully know. Would suggest messing with that loot def formula. Try adding in 3 or so additional "helicrash" citations. IF it treats eachas a separate item, then the selectrandom function would pull from the helicrash table 4 of 6 times and 2 of 6 from...

Go to server_spawnCrashSite.sqf and change:
_lootTable = ["Military","HeliCrash","MilitarySpecial"] call BIS_fnc_selectRandom;
to
_lootTable = ["HeliCrash"];
It's been pulling from those three tables, and Military has a lot of trash if you recall. Haven't been...
