I don't even own a server but every time I try to enter the Dayz mod I spawn on the beach then a few seconds later I get kicked back to the lobby screen with the above statement. Anyone know what the heck is going on?

If it happends with every server id try to re install DayZ

If your Dayz files get corrupted you will constantly get those kind of kicks. Open steam and go to each one of your Arma and dayz games and right click on the game, then select ->properties->local files->verify local cache. It will take a few minutes for each game and will probably tell you that 1 or 2 failed the check and will be reaquired.
