Hi,
Am creating a new mission file for Lingor and realised that I could, by enabling the other DayZ maps in Arma, amass a huge palette of buildings, objects, trees, even roads. I had already got quite a long way with the standard tools and then also the buildings from Chernarus and Takistan.
As a test, I placed some streetlights, a couple of bits of road, some rocks and some demolished houses. OK, mission.sqf loaded up in the Control Centre and also showed these additional objects where I had placed them.
But then, on going into the server via Commander, the objects are definitely NOT there. Have checked this through with another player. The stuff is NOT there.
What have I done wrong? Is it actually possible to place, for example, purely Namalsk items in Lingor (or vice-versa, obviously). Enabling all the maps/mods was a cinch in Arma, but would I be right in thinking that, for a DayZ map, launched via Commander, all the add-ons need to be applied as well? If yes, this would make it unviable as a map, as it would require too many add-ons (and no-one would want to play).
If no, what do I need to do to make that which can be seen in the 3D Editor AND in the Control Centre actually appear in-game?
Any help appreciated!
Thanks,
DJ
