Hey folks, we're in the testing phase for the 2.0 update release for DayZTaviana.com and I wanted to give everyone a heads up on what to expect.

The 2.0 release is targeted towards bug fixes from the launch week of the 1.0 Including but not limited to issues tracked in development.dayztaviana.com, as well as new vehicle classes, and additional tweak options for server owners.


Initial release of Taviana Island bundled with DayZ Mod on DayZ Commander & Packaged inside Bliss private hive software.
• Adjusted spawns to address issues with players spawning in the water.
• Resolved players spawning and swimming in the ground
• Addressed issues with loot not spawning in Sabina General Hospital (Bug #7)
• Addressed issues with loot not spawning on second floor of school (Bug #21)
• Addressed issues with loot not spawning properly in Art Museum (Bug #17)
• Adjusted loot spawning in Sabina Library (Bug #18)
• Implemented cleaner main menu MOD icon
• Introduced Maule single engine plane
• Modified Scripts.txt to allow for Maule props to kill zombies & players
• Revamped wood harvesting to allow for greater flexibility in tree quantity
• Added in vehicle classes for armed land vehicles (UAZ_MG_INS, etc) (Bug #31)
• Adjusted magazine sizes for armed land vehicles, with selectable quantities for Administrators
• Introduced additional air vehicle classes (MV22, Mi17, etc)
• Implemented server side weather controls
• Removed radar from the Maule

Nice with regards to the weather controls, something that should have been done in bliss a long arse time ago.

If you could do something similar with lighting to allow players to turn it on/off that would be fantastic.
 
How about fixing the BE kicks before updating any further.
We have been kicked from our server for starting the engine on the maule since day one, and no one else will help with a fix to this. We have had to run the server with BE off so to be able to play this map.

Poor management and support of this map.
 
My server works with several Maules spawned in, The engine does sound like it's going to blow up but then it works and will fly perfectly. The only glitch is if you crash you have to logout and back in again or you get trapped.

Using Tavaina 2.0, No idea if Hicks is coming back though, website has been offline for over 2 weeks now.
 
We have installed this map easily 10-12 times and same results each time. Hit Q to start the maule, and get kicked.

Respawn back in, and you spawn in the prop of plane with engine running and you get killed instantly.
 
Do you have the ability to spawn in new vehicles on your server ? I wonder if it's the type of Maule you're adding
